Foster children face a difficult transition into adult life. We work with county placement agencies; foster parents, and other professionals by providing resources and opportunities. We have structured our program to provide personal support as a main function including the following:

• Community servive opportunities
• Obtain personal documents
• Work experience through ILP Store
• Volunteer opportunities through ILP gives back

Who is Eligible for Butte County Independent Living Program (ILP):

• Current or former foster children
• 16 - 21 years of age
• Referred by County Social Worker or Probation Officer
• Voluntary participation

(Emancipated Youth):

• Self-Sufficiency Training And Rental Transition program (S.T.A.R.T.)
• Outcome Tracking and individual support
