Fujii
Director
A former staff member from 1987 to 2005, Ed was foster care Program Manager.
He graduated with his BS from UC Berkeley and his MSW from CSU, Sacramento.
Ed also has experience from Shasta County Welfare Department and Children's
Home Society of California. Now retired, Ed spends his time golfing and
with his grandchildren.
Jennifer
Flory
Director
A staff member at Youth and Family from 1995 to 1997 and has a B.S. in
Social Science and a teaching credential. She currently teaches Junior
High English and volunteers with the Butte Literacy Council.
Ralph
Ward
Agency Director
The Director of Youth and Family Programs received his M.S.W. in 1979
from S.U.N.Y at Buffalo, New York. He has been involved in the child welfare
field as a childcare worker and social worker for over thirty years.
Missy Shannon
Director
A foster parent with Youth and Family from 1995 to 2000, she received
a BS in Mathematics from Chico State in 1998. Missy was privileged to
have seven foster children in her home and adopted the last one. She
currently works as bookkeeper for Youth & Family Programs.
Karen Cole
Chairperson
From “73-“76 I tutored kids in reading in Bay Area, “78-“79 I ran a tutoring
program for CAVE, “80-“85 worked for Children's Home Society, “85-“90
employed as a Social Worker for Butte County CPS, “89-“90 worked for Youth
& Family Programs, & 1991 to present I have taught/counseled in
Alter. Educ. Programs for Colusa, Chico Unified & Paradise Unified.
Was also program manager for the Asian Teacher Program the summer of 2003.
